Hunter Jumper Lessons
The Pegasus Hunter/Jumper lesson program is taught by Carol Buhler and Jaime Topham. Beginning riders start with Carol to learn balance and position at a walk, trot, and canter, and learn to ride courses with trot poles and crossbars. Beginners start with schooled Pegasus horses. Experienced riders train with Jaime to perfect their position, control and communication with their horse on the flat and over fences. Pegasus has horses available for use at all levels of hunters or jumpers or students may bring their own horses. Jaime specializes in helping students train their own horses for hunter/jumper competition.
Jaime started her riding career at the age of 4 and began competing in Hunter/Jumper shows at the age of 9. Jaime has competed at many levels both in Utah and on the USEF A circuit Hunter/Jumper shows as well as USEA Events. She has studied with well known trainers such as three time Olympian Michael Page, 2000 Gold Medalist David O'Connor, Irish Olympian Eric Smiley. Large"R" rated Hunter judge Laurie Grayson, and continues updating her training with International judge and trainer Wayne Quarles.
