We will not be offering Pair Pace competitions in 2012.

If entry is submitted by email or phone, payment is expected whether you ride or not, unless a veterinarian’s certificate is presented as to horse injury or bad health.

A pair of riders covers the course together, either side by side or one following the other.  Each member of the pair may jump any of the jumps presented or may simply ride by the complex.  The idea is to control your pace.  It is helpful for inexperienced horses or riders to ride with an experienced horse/rider to learn confidence on a cross country course.  Horse/rider may ride in more than one pair.  If you don’t have a pair, let us know.  Maybe we can match you with someone.

Horse/rider will compete on the cross country course of the division they enter.  Horse/rider may not ride in more than one division.  This will be scored as a regular cross country ride in an event.  Ties will be given identical ribbons.
